![]() Hi I wonder if it is possible to upload a PDA/Winpilot IGC file to the OLC? I know the log is not secure but will be accepted for scoring? Winpilot is definitely not on the list of OLC approved software. If it is not possible, does anyone know why Winpilot has been excluded? Paul |

I have used it successfully, if you use the igc file rather than the
cai file Gary |

Gary,
I think you mean you were uploading the file from your cambridge logger not from WinPilot's built-in logger. To answer Paul's question though, WinPilot is still on the OLC Approved Software list (http://www.onlinecontest.org/validate.php) though many others are. I believe the only reason for this is because Jerry hasn't added a security signature ("G" Records) to his IGC files and then produced a corresponding "VALI" program to validate the IGC files. If he did this and sent it to the OLC, they would then be able to validate WinPilot log files. They would then get the blue "V" for validation which is just fine. This is what I did with SoarPilot a couple of years ago and it SP's log files validate just fine. Later! -Mark |

No, actually, when I upload from my Cambridge logger, through the
winpilot I get two files, IGC and CAI, using the IGC files with OLC I have no problem. Gary |
