The KI-201C is a VOR/LOC indicator with built-in VOR
converter. Same functions as the KI-208, which is a later model. The KI-214 is also a VOR/LOC indicator with built-in VOR converter and with built-in GS receiver. Most other indicators with GS deviation indicator are driven from an external glide slope receiver. The KI-214 had the RF receiver built-in. I'm not farmilar with the KI-211 of the top of my head. The 214 had a 40 ch gs receiver.
The 211 had a 20 ch gs receiver. The 211C used a different interface to the receiver than the 211A. They can reasonably only be tuned by the correct vintage 170x. Bill Hale |
