Just venting here.
Why is it so hard to find out how many people fit in airplanes? Visit the Murphy Rebel page http://murphyair.com/Product_Info/Rebel/Description.htm. I see you can install a third seat "if your family expands." That's great! Do they mean that literally (3-pax airplane) or do they mean a third row (5-pax airplane)?? Number of passengers is not listed in the Specs page, or in the FAQ page, and this strikes me as the central first issue for deciding whether an aircraft is of interest. Aerocomp names their airplanes (sometimes) by number of people on board, why does everybody else hide it so? Other manufacturers are just as vague, you have to carefully scan the ad copy rather than just look at the specs. Am I just website-challenged, here? Is it that nobody cares beyond "at least two seats and enough payload"? I'm sure the information is available on their website somewhere, but I'm just continually surprised that it's not up there in bold in the first couple lines of every aircraft marketing page. ~Adam |
