Funny looking Cessna... That's because all small planes are Cessnas and all facial tissues are Kleenex. To Cops...that's probably true (along with probably 98% of the 99.999% of the public who are not pilots.) The Cop called it a Cessna and the reporter was quoting the Cop. The reporter's unquoted text simply calls it a single-engine plane. Which, oddly enough, it appears to be. Jay Beckman PP-ASEL Chandler, AZ |

http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dw....88344736.html I'm not even sure what to say about this... Get the fuel selector fixed. I was once in a plane (with my primary instructor) that we didn't have any idea how much fuel it used (new engine conversion) and we found out the fuel selector had been painted shut. We stopped for fuel (even though we found out on the last stop that we would need a jump start and it was now after 7 on Friday night). We got fuel (and a jump) and made to our destination on a not too boring flight (interior lights, inop). Life is always interesting when you fly, Margy |
