Default Fiat 850's and lousy wooden gliders...

There is a Cherokee 2 guy on this group that reminded me of a couple things.
My old Fiat 850 was just about the coolest car to drive on the street.
It isn't fast, it isn't quick, it's on skinny tires so it doesn't corner too
well
BUT you can dive bomb off ramps at 100 % effort, load the car up as hard as
it
can go, feel like Fangio and not spend a fortune. There is actually a flip
side
of having the infinite L/D, and I bet its a ball. Aside from that, the crew
probabally doesn't miss the long tows....

Amen!

It is fun getting home before midnight and meeting amish farmers and
all that other exciting stuff you get to experience when landing out
that just doesnt happen at airports!

sounds like the Fiat would be a great ride, I need a vehicle like
that!! Having fun is what its all supposed to be about.

Pretty good....but can you imagine a Fiat 126, 4 hang gliders on the
roof rack and 5 people inside going up the hill to the launch site?
