![]() For two years I have chased the cause of the famous Cherokee Fluctuating Ammeter. Somewhere in here it became obvious that the problem was load related, ie turning off loads cured the problem for a time. This resulted in changing switches, loads and curses. It should have become obvious somewhere in here that the alternator might be have a part in the problem but I guess I am not that smart, I kept chasing bad switches and loose connections. Finally at annual my AP scrapped my 4 year old alternator. Wahoo!. Leo |
