Phil,
Here is a link; however, the pictures are small. http://www.minijets.org/model_p215_main.html Maybe something like that would convert my HP-14 to a "self-launch" sailplane. Hy Wayne,
I thank you, but this link goe directly to my web site. I knew your Web site. It is very interesting, because very complete and detailed. Congratulations. For the Prue 205, I don't know if its engine allowed "self-launching". I attach a photo of our own 1951 (self-launch) Fouga sylphe. Phil,
Thank you for the picture. It must have been taken in California. Look at that earth quake fault line on the mountain in the background! When I purchased my first Schreder designed sailplane about 10 years ago, it was hard to find any detailed information. The site was started about a year before Dick's death. The foundation was taken from a folder of documents provided by Dick's wife Angie. Through the contributions of Angie and other owners http://www.soaridaho.com/Schreder has grown to a little over 100 meg of data. The Schreder sailplane community is also served by the hp-gliders Yahoo news group. (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hp-gliders/) The possibilities of the new small jets has not been lost by Schreder sailplane owners. Personally, I would like a retractable system that would provide enough power to self-launch from a 6,000 MSL (Mackay, Idaho) airfield on 90 degree day (early August.) It may be some time before such a dream is feasible. (http://www.soaridaho.com/photogallery/Mackay_2006/) Wayne HP-14 "6F" "Phil" wrote in message ...
