It's a He 111Z Zwilling, they were initially built to tract the Me321
Gigant (the unmotorised version) but later used with many other
transport gliders

If I am not mistaken, the Heinkel HE-111Z "Zwilling'
built to tow the ME-321 Gigant & Ju.322 "Mammut"

Thanks for the help, my father flew on of the birds to Stalingrad
to supply Paulus however he got shut down shortly before the war ended, he
survived and worked for the US army in Germany till he retired.
Unfortunately he never talked to much about the plane and his experience
friend of mine in B.C. found the picture for me.
