Default What's on your OSH shopping list?

Ours is:

- Art for our upcoming "Flying Tigers" and "Hawk" suites
- Three new windsocks (ours are all faded)
- A bunch of aviation movies (from that vendor in the Fly Market that
always has all those rare videos)
- Some interior plastic parts for Atlas.
- A new Oshkosh hat

An unusually short list this year, actually. With Atlas having a low-
to-mid-time engine and decent radios, and no new whiz-bang XM weather
platform on the horizon, it looks like we'll get off cheaply this
year...

What's on yours?

We'll keep our eyes open for "deals" on the essential supplies for our
annual inspection, which comes due next month. I'll also be looking for a
full set of A&P text books. I'll once again pester Honeywell/Bendix/King..
they keep promising an announcement on their new GPS. Maybe a
bi-directional set of safety wire pliers.

Hmmm, psychedelic windsocks? Oh, that's right, you're from the Left
Coast too :-)

Hope the 0 AGL IFR route via soccer Mom Subaru goes well, no ATC
hassles, etc. Hmmm, since you can't file /G, I suppose you'll not be
able to cut any corners along said route :-)

See ya at Jay & Mary's place.

Toys for my grandson.

Hoping for "show specials" on Rejex and Extreme Simple Green.

Freebies from all the finish care vendors.

I couldn't help but notice that you had a couple of substantial items on
your list.

Are they in the order of importance, or were you just seeing if we were
paying attention? g

This some kind of an announcement, Paul?

:-)

May I presume that you are NOT coming to the Pool Party, now that you
have hooked up with that sweet "I work at the tri-motor" deal?

No. It's a shopping list! g

The "announcement" was back in the beginning of June (below)

MontBlack has gone the way of the Passenger Pigeon

Your presumption is indeed correct. I depart in a convoy of motor homes, to
OSH, on Friday afternoon.

The Ford Tri-Motor (I think) will have the AircraftOwner (Monthly Buyers
Guide) tent next to it, which is my main mission.

If you have one of these in your hands at OSH - I was the one who trailer'd
them over from the Twin Cities. g

But yes, hanging out at the Ford Tri-Motor (in AeroShell Square) ...is a
sweet deal.

Paul, where did you get the idea that you are the one who gets to pick?
