U.S. Junior Team in Italy
Members of the 2007 U.S. Junior soaring team are heading to Italy
today to compete in the 5th Junior World Gliding Championships in Rieti which start on July 28th and run to August 11. Mike Westbrook will be flying a Discus 2b and Kathy Fosha an LS-8. Team Captain Richard Maleady will be doing double duty as crewman and local team member Giorgio Marchisio will be helping out while the team is in Italy. Team reporting will be accomplished via a Day Report Blog direct from the flight line and should be updated frequently during the championships.
