Saturday 23 of September - airport in Bielsko-Biala.
For the company of Bogumil Beresia - the third serial super glider Diana 2
to be delivered for multiple world record holder Hana Zejdova - was prepared
for the test flight. Behind the control stick: test pilot Mariusz Stajewski.
Even Sebastian Kawa with his father Tomasz Kawa were present to watch the
entire operation.
As a courtesy the presidents of the Bielsko-Biala flying club allowed us to
tow the second Diana BB (pilot Sebastian Kawa) with the Oriole.
Fascinating view. I tried to document this special event on photographs -
judge yourself if I achieved that.
It is exceptional fun to photograph two super gliders Diana 2 in formation
flight, piloted masterly by two aces of soaring - Sebastian Kawa and Mariusz
Stajewski.

Hana has doubts if there has been time enough during this photo session to
test the glider properly.
The flight above happened 23/09/2006 but in the delivered papers the date is
showing 21/09/2006.
The manufacturer stated that a second test flight has been done, but it is
nowhere documented even not in the log book.
There is no prove if it really happened. Sure is that Hana paid for two
flights and the necessary insurance fees.


Documented is as well the manufacturers big hope into the success of Hana's
Australian expedition.

Hana Zejdova is back and will fly the Diana-2.
Let us remind that Hana was a successfully flew with Diana-1 several world
records some still not beaten until today.
We are waiting impatiently for results and further records established with
the new glider.

Everybody would have liked to see the small factories Diana-2 to succeed.
But things turned out differently.
