The last known radar contact was at 10:17 a.m. at about 13,000 feet. The plane was reportedly en route to Klamath Falls, then it was to continue on to Salt Lake City where it was scheduled to arrive at 3:20 p.m." Albany is only about 15 miles from Salem. So according to the numbers, he climbed out at ~1000fpm give or take, which would have been easy. Seems like he'd have gotten a little further downrange, though. -c |
