Well the flight capable orbiter was stored in a hanger at Baikonur
Cosmodrome. That is until it was destroyed in 2002 when the roof
collapsed on it.

You could know Keith that that Buran and its hangar was and still
is 100% property of republic of Kazahstan. The soviet heritage...
Russia forces in Baikanur have nothing to do (never had) with
all that regretable hangar roof colapse.

Dan, there were either two or three Burans - the Gorky Park one was not a
flyer.
