POINTER to proposal in us.config

A proposal has been posted to us.config to create a new newsgroup
in the us.* hierarchy, us.military.killed-in-action-dow. Purpose
of the group is to provide a forum for the discussion of persons
killed in action or who died of their wounds while serving with
the US military and to give moral support to their survivors.

This is the 5th RFD for this proposal, and much has been
changed. The time for discussion expires on Monday,
January 19, 2004. Then it will be decision time.

Newsgroup creation in the us.* hierarchy is by consensus in
us.config. If you have an interest in this group, please come to
us.config and let us know how you feel. The more support we
get for the group in advance, the more successful it will be.
