Default Shameless commercial plug - Condor books now available

Paul Remde of cumulus soaring (http://www.cumulus-soaring.com) emailed
me yesterday to tell me that his shipment of my book "Cross Country
Soaring with Condor" has arrived and is now available for purchase at
his site. This is the culmination of many years of real-life and
Condor cross-country racing, and way too many months of trials and
tribulations (see my 'Adventures in Self-Publishing' post). This book
is aimed at real-life soaring pilots who would like to get into cross-
country racing for the first time, or would like to get better at it.
The book comes with a free companion CD that contains full-color
images of all the figures (the book had to be printed in b/w for cost
reasons), flight plans and flight tracks for all the example flights,
and the thermalling and ridge transition videos. I think this is a
terrific buy at only $19.95 - but of course I may be just a wee bit
biased.

If you are in the U.S. and are planning to fly in a soaring contest
this year, I will also have autographed copies for sale at the soaring
contests I am attending. I'll be at Mifflin, Ionia, Cordele, CCSC,
Wurtsboro, Logan, Uvalde, Llano, and Fairfield.

Hi,

I don't quite have the book up on my site yet. I hope to get it up today,
but I need to focus my efforts on my lovely wife today - for mother's day.
So it may not get up until Monday.

It is a great book. Well done Frank!
