Last year I spent a very interesting and inspiring afternoon at the Lone
Star Flight Museum and Texas Aviation Hall of Fame in Galveston, TX. Any of you who may have visited them in the past may be interested to know that the buildings, aircraft, and exhibits were severely damaged by the hurricane. (The building is only about 6 feet above sea level, quite close to the Gulf of Mexico). For news and pictures of the devastation, or to donate to the recovery, visit http://www.lsfm.org. Roger |
