Mitchell,
The pics you've posted recently of the Saabs are REMARKABLY clear and vivid. They are easily some of the best quality shots I've seen of any aircraft on this group, and I've lurked for many years. Do you have any backstory about who / how / when they were shot? And (oh, please!!!) any chance of EXIF data??? Thanks, Charlie |

Most are promotional shots, a few airshow images, don't know much more. Just enjoy........ And (oh, please!!!) any chance of EXIF data??? EXIF? |

It's a set of information that digicams attach to an image. The data describe the camera make and model, lens focal length and aperture and in the case of a zoom lens, the focal length that was actually used, the shutter speed, metering mode, flash data and some other things I can't remember at the moment due to CRS disease. I was really blown away by the sharpness, clarity, saturation and overall aesthetics of the Saab images. I was especially curious to see what kind of equipment was used. I'm not exactly sure when EXIF data are stripped away. They still live with the original file. But I'm pretty sure that a right-click and "copy image" will do it. And thanks again for all the posting you do. Charlie |

Charlie I don't know how it is with other viewers (I have been using only IrfanView for a long time now) but when I open a picture and click on "Image" and then on "Information" a drop-down menu appears. I can then click on "EXIF info" and the information appears. See below; copied and pasted from the menu.
