It's hard to imagine that a Challenger jet would be a museum piece already.

Pretty close to 30 years ago! The aircraft at CFB Winnipeg Air Park is Challenger #2, c/n 1002, CAF 144612, f/f 29.2.88, ret 8.4.93. It was a non-standard CC144, assigned to AETE, and retired early in lieu of retrofitting. The Challenger at the NAM at Rockcliffe is c/n 1003; re# 3391, C-GCGT manufactured 1979.
