With a quick Google search I found this site:
http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/english-g...onautical.html Tried a few technical words and it translated them well. No guarantees about how extensive it may be, of course! -John |

I have found that even up to date specialised dictionaries or glossaries fall over as the Germans (and also the Flemish) tend to create much longer convoluted words from shorter ones to explain ideas and concepts. However most of the club members can speak 3 or 4 languages so if you are stuck then feel free to e-mail me and I will ask for an accurate translation. This idiomatic use caught me out the other day: 'fette Bärte' Gavin Std Cirrus, CNN now G-SCNN, #173 LSV Viersen, Keiheuvel, Belgium |
