....without any noobs reposting that stupid Night Before Christmas
rhyme about Santa. A good start for 2009.

Default I think we've made it through 2008...

We spent our first New Year's Eve in San Diego. Back up north in Washington
State people bought "illegal" fireworks from the Indian Reservations and let
fly at Midnight.

Down here perhaps fireworks are impossible to buy. At midnight the sound of
9 MM pistols being emptied into the air rang in the New Year. A quick check
in the morning found no bullet holes in the house or vehicles.
