Anyone out there have a schematic for a proper hp310 (hp3xx...)
charging cable showing which pins/wires to bridge with which type/ value resistors for operating it using an external 5v battery power source such as the Socket Mobile Power Pack that they'd be willing to share? I think it's Gnd, blank, 3v, 3v, & 5v on pins 1,2,3,4,5 respectively, with the metal jacket of the male mini USB also plug end also being grounded... but want to confirm this and need to know resistor value/ types as well. Tips & tricks welcome... http://www.socketmobile.com/pdf/acce...er-pack_ds.pdf I already know where I can buy the complete cable to do this, but I'd rather just make one... so I don't need any advertisements of where to go for a plug-n-play version. TIA, -Paul |

mini usb plug 310 end pin 1 +5v pin 2 link to 3 pin 3 link to 2 pin 4 N/C pin 5 GND USB type A plug Power pack end pin 1 + 5v pin 2 N/C pin 3 N/C pin 4 GND There does not appear to be any resistors fitted, but there is a balun over the cable at the mini usb end Chris Runeckles "sisu1a" wrote in message ... TIA, -Paul Hi Paul I have been using a "Just Mobile" PP-08 Mobile Power Pack with my HP310 and this works a treat for about 5hrs external power + the Batterie on the 310 for 1,5-2hrs.Recharging via USB of the Powerpack also about 5hrs. Make sure the 310 is fully charged before you start using it in the plane as otherwise it will draw a large amount immediatly of the Power Pack. Regards Bruno |
