"US Air Force chief praises Eurofighter
21 July 2004 LAAGE - The chief of staff of the US Air Force, General John P. Jumper, was quoted Wednesday as praising the Eurofighter Typhoon after a test flight on the much-maligned jet, which has been in service just 11 weeks with the German Air Force. "I've flown all the air force jets. None was as good as the Eurofighter,"; he said, according to an account by the German Air Force of his Tuesday try-out of one of the two-seater jets based at Laage Air Force Base near the Baltic coast city of Rostock. The general praised the jet fighter for its agility, manoeuvrability, acceleration and precise navigation. " source http://www.expatica.com/source/site_...;story_id=9711 It does seem an very inappropriate thing to say with the F15 in competition with the Typhoon in Singapore!!,. If true, Its quite statement from Gen Jumper!. (or is that Private Jumper now?) Cheers John Cook Any spelling mistakes/grammatic errors are there purely to annoy. It does seem an very inappropriate thing to say with the F15 in
competition with the Typhoon in Singapore!!,. f-15 can not be compared to the eurofighter becouse eurofighter is almost new aircraft with better avionics, BVR weapon systems with longer range, not even with rafale. Itīs like compareing a new Porsche 911gt3 with a Ford Taurus from the 80's (the upgraded version with new paint) |

is ugly. It's called being polite. If you are talking about ugly aircrafts, just remember that USA is using a-10 one of the ugliest ones. F-15 is not ugly, its just old crap compared to the new aircrafts such as f-22 or the Eurofighter. f-15 can only be compared to su-27 and both are obsolete. |
