It's still possible to get a really neat and appreciated gift for all
your glider buddies for $10 or less (that's *each* you tightwad)! In a pinch, can also be used as wedding, anniversary, or birthday present - - though results may vary. I get "bulk" orders for gifts to hand out to other club members throughout the year, but it picks up near Christmas. So I thought I'd do a "not so special special" this year. Here's the deal: Proudly made in the USA (so they are dirt cheap against the Euro) . . . Buy 10 MKIV yaw strings and get 1 Quiet Vent free with your order. (offer ends 12/31/09). Of course if you don't have many friends, you can buy fewer MKIV's . . . you just don't get the free QV - - sorry. MKIV's are $10 each, (QV's are regularly $6). Shipping is free to USA (we need all the financial help we can get right now) and just $1 (any size order) to other countries. If you are not completely satisfied your money will be cheerfully refunded including return shipping (though I will be vrey surprised and somewhat shocked) . Since nobody has ever requested their money back, this may be your chance to establish an easy world record that is at least "glider related". For ordering and more info, send email to bumper (add letter "m" after bumper) @ att dot net. Sorry for the commercial post, I promise not to do it again until at least next year. bumper zz Minden |

I guess it was aptly named "eeewww". I don't know if they've fixed the problems now - but this past summer was full of bad customer experiences. Caveat emptor 9B |

9B - Please confine criticisms or condemnations of equipment and
manufacturers to the ones you've personally experienced. If folks you know have bad experiences, let them speak up. No need to trash products based on hearsay. NOTE: I am in no way affiliated with any of the people or products that have been discussed on this thread. The only connection that I have is as the owner of an EW MicroRecorder that I purchased in early 2008 and have experienced zero problems with. I have heard of problems with some of the older (pre-MicroRecorder) products, but since I haven't had any bad experiences myself I don't go around blabbing about it. --Noel On Nov 13, 8:50*am, Andy wrote: I've seen my fair share of pilots pulling their hair out over non- functioning EWmicrorecorders.
