I'm thinking of adding the GTX 330 transponder to get traffic on my 430. Has
anyone done this and is it worth the price(what did it cost)? I fly mostly in the eastern US and believe that there is pretty good coverage here. Chuck |

I have a GTX 330 installed in a Baron as well as an Extra. In my opinion it
is one of the most valuable avionics upgrades you can buy- it's simply amazing how much traffic is out there that you never pick up visually, even with a good scan. Definitely worth the investment, which as I recall was around $3500 installed. If you ever get a chance to fly with one you'll be convinced immediately. Good luck. |

Ditto what Viperdoc said. I'm also on the east coast (NJ) and feel it
is worth its worth in gold. Mine is mounted in my Beech Sundowner. Jack (PaulaJay1) wrote in message ... I'm thinking of adding the GTX 330 transponder to get traffic on my 430.
