I experienced radio interference several months ago when talking to
Razorback Approach (in the Ft. Smith, AR area) on 120.9 MHz. I contacted the local Dallas FAA and indeed there was a problem. This led to meeting the FAA engineer. The FAA engineer provided me a website set up for educating and addressing this problem and what to do. I am passing this on to fellow pilots to alert you also. Please go to http://www.aerorfi.org/ to find out more and see what you might do. By the way, the problem was traced to a defective paging tower in Tahlequah, OK. Ross N7905U |
