Hello,
I am new to thie board. Recently I moved to SLC from Orlando. I always wanted to try Bush/mountain Flying and was wondering if anyone here knew of a flightschool where I can get mountain flying lessons. I am a CMEL with IFR @400hrs. Also, if there is someone in this area who would be interested in doing some time-building with me, I would be very happy to hear from you. Greetings from Salt Lake City. |

In Provo, there's an AFROTC detatchment at the nearby university, and UVSC has a Part 141 school, so that might be an option, if you're willing to drive 50 miles south. SLC #2, in Sandy, might also give you what you need. To the North, there's the Ogden airport, I think it's just north of Hill AFB. I don't know of any others. Rob |
