Would someone please give me an estimate of how much a 1993 Grob 103 Twin III is worth in today's market?
Total time less than 300 hours!! It has a Cobra trailer, Steve's One-man rigger, O2, full front and back instruments and LNAV/GPS20. |

SL means "Self Launch" Pretty hard to buy a self launch PW-6 at any price AFAIK.;^) Non-engined G-103 III's were going for $55K a few years ago. Newer then, but less demand, so the price is whatever the market will bear. A G-103 III has a bit more span and carbon in the structure. In my limited experience in the G-103 III SL, they do climb in weak lift and handle well. They are noisy on climb out. They are reportedly a bit fussy with their electrical interlocks. They are at least 10hp, perhaps 15hp, light on power needed to operate safely in the mountain west, though several owners have tried. http://www.sailplanedirectory.com/Pl...fm?planeID=369 Couple others for sale out there https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...22948& type=3 http://www.japan-soaring.org/informa...Twin_IIISL.pdf Frank Whiteley |

Here's a nice example of an OLC entry in G103 twin 3 (SL).

All Grob produced glider and selflaunch gliders are still supported, either by Grob Aerospace for the G-109, G-115 and G-120 models or Linder for the G-102, 103, and 104 models. So far as parts ads service for Grob aircraft in the Americas I have not had any serious problem getting parts and support out of Germany. While Grob gliders are no longer produced they are not orphans as far as support goes.
