Hi
Is there anybody reading this group who has experience with transporting a patient with an intra-aortic balloon pump in an Agusta A109 or A119 helicopter? I am particularly interested the aircraft is best loaded and the pump stowed. I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks Geoff |

An appropriate place to post that question would be in the Flightweb
forums at www.flightweb.com. It is followed by aeromedical staff of all flavors, not just pilots. I just happen to be an RN who is a fixed wing private pilot and keep tabs on here. Unfortunately I've never transported a balloon pump in my aeromedical days so I couldnt give a direct answer.
