Sports Class Nationals Dates 2016???

Anyone know where and when the US Sports Class Nationals will be in 2016?

I understand that there are discussions going on with a couple of locations.. Not sure when or how a decision is going to be made. It is very difficult and risky to put on a Nationals contest, especially for just one class. I would expect a regional competition to be held at the same time to make it doable.

Isn't the Sports class national the best attended of all nationals? so it would be the less risky i would think.
I would like to see the Sports and Club class nationals seperately at Cordele and Uvalde. A Uvalde is location is long overdue.

As long as they are not held during the same week!

Would love to see either Sports or Club nationals or both combined at Cordele.

Would love to see either Sports or Club nationals or both combined at Cordele.

Sports was east this year at CCSC and, according to usual rotation, should be west in 2016.
The general scheme is that Club and Sports should be on opposite parts of the country each year so as to minimize conflict.
The intent is not to combine them as this leads to one pirating the other and reduced total participation.

Likely this is awaiting BOD approval that would come at Fall BOD meeting in September.

Soaring's calendar (p.54, Sept issue) says that the Club class for 2016 is already allocated to Wurtsboro, for Jun 11-19. Nada on Sports class. So no combination of the two contests, no clues as to date conflicts between these two events for basically the same pool of potential contestants.
