Trace,
Get more RAM. At least double it. JB "Tlewis95" wrote in message ... I am buying a Dimension 8300 It will be equipedm with: 3GHz P4 HT 128 or 256 MB 9800 Radeon 512MB RAM 120 GB Hard Drive how will this run FS2004 can I get 30-40 FPS with full visuals and AI? Thanks, Trace Lewis age 13 |

It will run FS2004 OK Trace, but don't feel you have to have 30 fps. Most
people get along fine with 20 as the max setting. I find that even when the weather and complex scenery takes me down to 12 fps or so, I am still flying OK and enjoying the sim. So the best of luck. It looks like a good machine there. But yes, get some more RAM, you won't regret the extra bit of expense. The paper round should cover it! --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
