Hi,
The last version of the FS that i had used was the 2k2. This version allowed uploading all the scenery files for faster start up of the sim - it also did not require a CD to be in the drive for it to function. The first version that I have used, by the way, was the first version they came up with. I winded up buying a pc junior just to play the sim - so I am a veteran of sorts. The 2004 version starts very slowly. It seems to be loading scenery objects, etc. even though I have installed it fully. The requirements for CD4 to be in the drive is also an annoying requirement. How do you guys deal with these things. Is there a way to speed up the startup process? Where can I find some cool planes to download for the fs2004? Thanks. Farzad |
