Aviation Goodness - not quite soaring ....

Aviation is getting some good press in SoCal.
Montecito was clobbered.

We can say this is not about soaring,
or we can say it is about aviation making hearts soar,
during some pretty trying times for some people locally.

Thank you to Santa Barbara pilots for serving the community.

Other local pilots have taken some aerial photos that show the path
of destruction in a much more blatant way than any ground based reporting.

If it rains more, this will repeat itself. But maybe the weather pattern will not deliver 1.5 inches in 20 minutes the next time.
