upgrade

Hi.
I have a LX 5000 version 6.13. I am interested in opinion of of owner who have
upgraded to version 9.xx or version 11.0. I find these upgrade expansive
is it worth the many $$$ they ask?

I have an even older version 3.xx. It is not IGC approved and when I
queried having it upgraded - I found it cost as much a buying a
Colibri. I then bought the Colibri as a logger for the added
convenience of being able to remove it from the glider and take it
home to my PC - rather than taking a laptop out to the club each week.
The LX5000 then serves as a backup logger as the log is acceptable for
competitions etc.
