.... or take a look at the McMurdo Pains Wessex Fastfind Plus 406 PLB
EPIRB. I found it advertised for $549 at Landfall Navigation in
Stamford, CT. Has also the built in GPS function, weighs 11oz and has
about the same dimensions than the Terrafix. Best of all, you can order
it online and don't pay the state sales tax. If you buy one in '05, the
manufacturer will send you replacement batteries for as long as you own
the unit.

Does anybody have an opinion on either unit?
