Can we be more than Glider Pilots…?

I just watched the news.
The World seems to be going to s###, with this great
search for a new energy source to replace oil. Or is
it all just hype? Do I express many peoples concerns?
Or am I alone in thinking this? Maybe I’m just new
to this part of the world…
Our sport gliding, if made watchable and understood
by a larger audience, has the potential to influence
the thinking about new natural energy sources.

Fine, I will pause right there so you can call me a
raving lunatic, and assume I have lost my marbles!

next year 21-29 January 2006 (www.gp06.com) We have
the opportunity to continue this new 21st Century Air
Sport with an important message.:
We are aspiring, living, flying proof that the earth
can provide us with the energy we need... so can we
be more than glider pilots this Century?
