I desire to cut a small window (camera port etc) into a larger Lexan side window/door in my Skyranger Any and all advice re framing the hole, hinges to use, latches, over lap to seal wind, and suitable size would be welcome. I am thinking about a 200 * 150mm ( 8" * 6") inch window many thanks David Hill |

Most aircraft glazing is acrylic and not Lexan. Even though Lexan is superior in strength, it is not as clear, more flexible, and virtually un-polishable. The glues etc. are different for each. |
