Compaq aero question
I hooked BOTH (don't ask) of my compaq aero 1550 pda's up to 12 volts,
directly... ....neither works at all now. Before I bust 'em open and start digging around in thier innards, does anyone know if they have a fuse, where it is, or any other hints... thanks, john roe, "zr" www.roenation.com

Sorry to hear of the accident. If you find they are not repairable I'd
like the carcases for plastic case parts. Please don't throw them away. Andy

Compaq aero question
I've had one apart several times and never found an internal fuse. I'd
consider your unit officially fried. System is 5 volts and 12 v would be fatal. Bob "quietman" wrote in message oups.com... Needs a converter.
