Default Anyone know what happened to Bob Wander's site?

I had a look at it when I started gliding a few months ago but didn't
think all the fancy books would help me at that stage.

A few months have gone by and I tried to find his website again to buy
the Thermals book and a few other interesting ones, including one that
I believe was called 'Taming the Mountain Wave'. The website seems to
be down and I've not been able to find any others that have such a good
selection.

Although there are other sites that can provide certain items
individually none have such a wide range. As I live in Australia I was
hoping to place one large order instead of lots of little ones to save
on shipping.

Does anyone know if Bob's site will be back?

Regards

Hi,

I have recently added many soaring books to my web site. The list is
growing rapidly. The page takes a while to load because I include scans of
the table of contents of many of the books.

Hi Everyone,

The website www.bobwander.com is moving to a new hosting service. May
take a day or two more to complete the change. The old
www.bobwander.com site, on the hypermart hosting service, was not
delivering the quality of service that my webmaster Bill Palmer and I
thought we needed for my customers. So, we are moving to a new hosting
service to provide better customer service.

Thanks for your inquiries and your patience - nice to be missed! - and
will be back online very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks and safe soaring to all,
Bob Wander
