No fly, weather. 434, Ron Schwartz, flying a ASW 20, wins 15
Meter. Wait for offical scores to see second and third. K1, Dale Kramer, wins Standard. KS, Karl Streidieck, wins 18 Meter, with a Duo Discus. Congrats to all, and yes, I know its a 20 meter ship, but whats a couple of meters when your having fun. In closing, another great contest in New Castle. All the club members really are thanked by us, as they step forward to really help out. CD DB put out tasks that were enjoyed by all. We were down several entrants this year. So, if you can, plan for next year, and be here, ya hear. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe. # 711 reporting |

In 15 Meter, second and third flip floped. HK flew out 25 miles, and
never got into the first turn, then flew back to land at New Castle. He first received 37 points, but then got zeroed because he didn't get minium distance before he turned home, for a constructive landout and didn't "landout". So, SM, John Seymore comes in second, by one point and Kirt Stant, 66, gets third. Earlier, it was 66 by 2 points over SM, when awards were given out. Bad boys, bad boys, what ya going to do, what ya going to do when the rules get you............ I was lucky enough to be trailered next to Kirt for the contest. Not only did he fly a great contest, but he's a good guy to be trailered next too.
