Jay, now here's something very unusual:

KCHD 231547Z 05009KT 00SM FG VV000 01/01 A3021

Nice morning to go flying?!

We had rain all day yesterday and it's cool and very moist here this morning, but will probably burn off
soon.

I'd send a Twin Cities weather update your way, but there are way too many
Canadians (lurking here) who wouldn't let me get away with that! g

Montblack-ice
November/December have been (unseasonably) mild ....so far.

Our "White Christmas" (from a 'snow event' a couple of days ago) is looking
more like only a light dusting, as of this afternoon. Tomorrow 40F is
forecast. Oh well.

Sweaters are more of a rumor than a reality in Phoenix.

"Sweaters are more of a rumor than a reality in Phoenix."

Have you ever actually spent a winter in Phoenix?

Lots of sweaters, especially when it drops down to a chilly 50F or
so...

Love watching those puppies fighting...

Hey Mike,

Truly wierd.

I, however, was suffering the slings and arrows of the annual family
Christmas gathering in Michigan (Ping Roger: I was in Mt Pleasant!).

The only thing worse than having to endure my usual copious amounts of
travel in an aluminum tube is having to do it when I'm supposed to be on
R&R.

Ah well...

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and will be watching the Fiesta Bowl and
BCS Championship games. I'll be back in the TV production saddle for both
games at the new Cardinal's stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Peace,

Jay B

I would ask that you inform your colleges to give the OSU fans twice as
much coverage as the Florida fans, however, knowing that there will not
be many Florida fans in attendance, that will not be necessary. The
stadium (and surrounding locals) will already be a sea of scarlet and
grey. :-))

P.S. Jay B, my son just graduated from USNC Boone (Appalachian State,) with
a degree in broadcast technology, with minors in math and computers. If
your company needs extra hands while in the area, or on a more permanent
basis, give me a shout on back channels. Make the obvious change, by taking
the junk out.

I had a pretty good one, after the fog finally lifted and I was able
to fly down to Southern NM. I'm back in PHX and will be watching.
We're running out of ramp space at CHD with all of the out of town
bizjets that are beginning to show up for the bowls.
