See: http://www.asa-soaring.org/images/front/pic5.jpg
Found on display on a rest stop kiosk on Interstate 10 in southern Arizona. It's a photograph of a grainy photograph and hard to tell what the glider is. Any ideas? 2NO |

My guess is LS3 I concur. Wolf Lemke has a marvelous sense of what a glider fuselage should look like, and that looks like one of his. Bob K. |

Could be an LS3 but the horizontal and elevator look a little too small
compared to the vertical. Also, the fuse shape doesn't look _quite_ right. Lastly, in the picture, while it appears that the left wing has downturned tips, that could be an photographic illusion. So for my money either an LS3 or Standard Cirrus. It appears to have the straight leading and trailing edges of the LS-3
and the taller tail of the LS3a. 01-- Zero One wrote: Could be an LS3 but the horizontal and elevator look a little too small compared to the vertical.
