Landing at RAF Cosford this afternoon were the last three Jaguars from 6
Sqd. All three had a bit of 'extra paint' and looked quite smart. Pity the nose art was on the other side of the 'Gulf 1' ship but maybe it will be on show in the museum here in the future (after the Gulf war most of the 'pink' jets and all nose-art was cleaned off very quickly). Not quite the last 'big cat' these as at least one more is still flying with the Empire Test Pilots School at Boscombe Down. |
