As I've said before, live tracking is *THE* reason to fly with SPOT.
The OK, HELP and 911 features are nice, but if you crash and are
unable to activate these, then the last track point will give search
and rescue a place to start looking for you and a much smaller radius,
especially of the ELT fails to activate or be seen.

I was told by our SPOT representative there is a promotion starting
June 1 and running thru Sept.......any units purchased and activated
within that time frame qualify for tracking at half price. New
customers need a special coupon that is sent in or entered in the
computer (coded number on each card).

Glider pilots are encouraged to purchase SPOT from your local
