Alive and doing well good man. a ferry pilot told me some years ago of a show that advertised for ferry pilots. they'd lost two in the ocean and needed to replace them. I was probing to see whether you were the firm. Stealth Pilot |

No one seems amazed that the weekend pilot who flies poorly- maintained rental fleet has not killed himself yet, so why are these flights any riskier? This sounds like a fantastic job if you are single and no kids. Just one question, what is "DOE"? |

This sounds like a fantastic job if you are single and no kids. Just one question, what is "DOE"? Depends On Experience In other words he pays what he thinks the other guy will accept, not for completing the job. -- --- there should be a "sig" here I pay what a person is worth... For top pay one need to have their owned equipment (excluding raft), have a few crossings, know how to obtain the proper over flight and landing permits, know routes, times, handlers, customs procedures, and how to file the route properly without getting it rejected by euro control or other agencies 5 times and wasting time. Some one like that is worth more than someone that dose not have the experience and is going to have to be trained and/or hand fed the entire trip. That's What Depending On Experience Is. Even leaving the us for export is not simple..... depending on where your going you will need to have the proper export paperwork and number of copies. |
