The PDA is receiving GPS signal from the Goddard cable when it is NOT
plugged into the SN-10. When it is plugged into the SN-10 neither the SN-10 nor the PDA receive GPS signal. The baud rates are set at 4800 on the SN-10 (by default I understand), the EW, and the PDA (SeeYou mobile). The SN-10 PDA box is checked. Am I missing something? Do I have a bad cable? thanks for any suggestions, (as long as you don't ask me why I'm running a PDA with my SN-10)! Jim hoping to be one of the "Ely Jims" soon... |

Set the baud rate on the SN-10 to 38.4(?) -- whatever is the EW
standard (see the EW user guide). -CH via 2NO |

Hi Ted,
I must kindly disagree with that. I recommend setting the EW to 4800 baud and the SN10 to 4800 baud. The EW baud rate can be set in the EW_User.txt file. Paul Remde "Tuno" wrote in message ... Paul,
Why do you recommend 4800 over 38400 baud? Both devices can be set to the faster speed. Why not use it? -ted |

Paul - never mind - I didn't have the right understanding of the setup
with three devices. -ted |
