Sports Class Nats--Thanks!

Just a note of thanks to everyone who visited Elmira for the Sports Class
Nationals and to help us celebrate the 75th anniversary of when Harris
Hill became Harris Hill, especially everyone from HHSC and NSM and also to
Frank Paynter for the SPOT display and those pilots who flew with it--which
everyone found interesting. Congratulations to John Seymour for winning and
Sean Franke for leading the club class. We all had a great time!

Ron,

Thank you a lot for this perfectly organized contest. It was a real
pleasure to be there. Even on rainy days there were plenty of things
to do for the whole family. The pool at Harris Hill was my son’s
favorite place and it was only minutes away from the field.

The support for pilots was outstanding and we never had to look far to
find someone helpful. Thank you to all “juniors” who worked the line
and helped with retrieves.

This was one of the best run contests I have been to in 33 years or
racing. The low key organization and depth of the HHSC group was a
real treat.
CD HW and his advisors managed to get a 6 day contest out of true crap
for weather.
Well done to all.
And hearty congratulations to SM- arguably the most deserving pilot
not to have won a National Championship- TILL NOW.

I echo AK's and UH's sentiments. This was my second contest at Harris
Hill, and both were excellently organized and run. The juniors are
outstanding. Kudos to the entire team!
