Anyone familiar with NAS Miami during WWII? I am trying to
determine a naval location reference NAS Miami as "Pt. Affirm" I can't find it on the net. Not sure if it is merely a local naval aviation reference point, a swallowed up town, or a point of land. Surely there are still some naval aviators that trained there during the war or afterward that might be able to solve this question? Al |

Al,
If I remember correctly, NAS Miami was where Opa Locka Airport now resides. Jake "old hoodoo" wrote in message ... Anyone familiar with NAS Miami during WWII?
