The aircraft need not function but the interior should be as intact as possible. Would like to ship it to Europe. I assume this is a joke. Do you have any idea what it would cost to "ship" a reasonably intact, non-airworthy airliner from one place to another? Vastly cheaper to take your cameras and crew to wherever the airliner is. |

Exspensive to ship a 737, but if the interior is a issue there are cabin interior mockups used for things like evacuation training for cabin crew. There should be quite a few of those in Europe which are presumably rented out to airlines that don't own them. They are quite expensive and realistic. regards jc |

It flies poorly because one of the wings is bent, but that shouldn't be a problem for a film project. It only costs 40 dollars or so to ship it to Europe. Tim |

Send me a budget for the set and we'll get right on it. Of course now you'll have to ship *me* over to Europe. You know, your timing is off by about a month. I could have built your set here, in our shop, then shipped the entire thing back to Europe inside the Beluga. Drat. http://www.airventure.org/2003/galle...runway_600.jpg Can I push the pyro igniter button - at the end of movie? If you're serious check the commercial studio soundstage rentals for
interior mockups. Remember you need to have both a full cabin for shot axis' running fore and aft as port or starboard cabin half-sections to give you enough subject-to-camera relief for transverse shots, tracking and dolly shots as people move in the cabin, etc. Really really hard to do all that in the confines of an actual aircraft. You realize, of course, that movies, tv shows and commercials never use a *real* airplane interior. Not enough room inside. There are many soundstages in all regions of the world that have this capability. Check with some of hte bigger studios in your region. If you have some extra bucks, bring your cast over to the states and contract out stage 747 at Paramount studios in Hollywood. That's their soundstage with aircraft interiors, cockpits, etc. |
