come to the museum! No problemo. It made it in one piece? I picked one that must have been from in front of an aileron, cuz it didn't come to a really sharp point at the end. While this didn't look as cool as the bigger ribs, I figured it had a better chance of actually arriving intact... It's in one piece but a bit crooked. The size is good, if it was bigger I'd have some trouble hauling it around. I'm using it on a Discovery Station to show folks (kids mostly) what airplanes are made of on the inside and to show progression of aircraft construction over time. I'm hoping to have a wood rib, metal and I already have a flap off some huge commercial thing with honeycomb aluminum (have a box size piece for the kids to stand on too!. Margy |
