Hey Jeff, any idea why I'd get redirected to a porn site when clicking on either the "performance specs" or "My Plane Pictures" links on that page??? Robert Moore wrote in message .8... Because that's what Jeff does for a living. Our own newsgroup would-be Larry Flint! Hehe. I thought it was strange to see an IP address vs. a domain name in a URL, so I did a reverse lookup and found the domain name. Beautiful girl, no? |

Actually its not strange to use an IP address instead of a domain name.
It only means I dont have a domain name for that page. Have not go around to buying one for it yet. Also that IP will not resolve to anything since it has no domain associated to it. Actually we do web hosting, design, live/recorded streaming video and
audio services. Its just that most of our customers own adult websites since those sites are what makes the most money (in general). We have about 30 playboy models and penthouse models we do live video for also. Pain in the butt talking to some of these girls on the phone. ok so what does that tell you.
hmmm....landofvenus1 is a server name (hostname) and primenetwork.net is a domain name. If you was to do a reverse DNS lookup on the site that was accidently opened you would see it was a completly different IP address and server name. I have others also, landofvenus5, video1, main, bookie, master and so on, I also have 100 IP addresses in 3 different blocks and have about 50 domains registered to me and servers co-located in 2 different parts of the country for redundancy. My servers are all dual P-III 600's with a gig of RAM, use a SCSI RAID array nslookup is a basic tool but to use it you have to know what your looking for which you did not. You have to understand how things work and are setup to get a grasp of it. My wifes website is here, she designed it in about 10 minutes. http://www.bulldogfrench.com but watch out, it may be to much for you If you do a reverse lookup on it you will see it has a different host name meaning its on a different server. If you need a class on this let me know and I can help you out. There was alot that you missed. like the change in IP addresses when the specs page opens and so on. I dont know what your trying to get at with your nslook up but I have nothing to hide, if you want a website let us know we can do you up one, for a fee. You want your own server, no problem tell me what you want and we will build it. You want to get naked on a webcam, let us know and we can do that also. We dont turn down anyones money. ![]() But just dont ask me to look at your shiney little hiney like someone else does all the time when he calls me. jeeshh....
